We are very grateful for the donations because there are different expenses for setting up housing for refugees. MTÜ Käsikäes Ukrainlastele was founded on March 29, 2022. As one must have been active for at least 6 months in order to be included in the list of associations benefiting from income tax incentives, unfortunately, private persons cannot receive income tax refunds from their donations. A person who has found himself in a foreign environment needs time to understand the organization, laws and living conditions of the new state. This process can be quite stressful. This is all the more difficult for Ukrainian refugees because they are also concerned about their loved ones and the country. Therefore, they ideally need a support person (s) to help them adjust to Estonia. To help with strength and advice, to introduce the region, to help Ukrainian families feel welcome here.
